We have the ‘Lameness Locator’ made by Equinosis which is a precise measurement of horse movement and picks up subtle asymmetries. We use this instrument to measure our sport horses before their competitions, to help diagnose subtle lameness and to monitor the progress to the various treatments we offer. Using the lameness locator allows us to objectively quantify response to treatment, percentage of improvement to regional anesthesia (nerve blocks), degree of lameness including impact/stance/or pushoff phase of stride.
Consultations
In addition to first opinion lameness exams, Dr. Daniel works with your regular veterinarian to provide second opinion consultations. These may be after you have tried several treatments and it is important to have these records available for review prior to the consultation.
